HELLO FROM HONOLULU
Life has been pretty busy with travel in 2019, and it’s the reason I’ve been a little MIA. The good news is, with my absence comes a lot of new content and today it’s from my home away from home, Hawaii. It took me a couple of weeks to finally get through all of the footage from the islands. It’s always so hard for me to pick and choose what to eliminate! Ahhhh! But it’s finally complete.
Meeting Mickey at the character breakfast at Disney Aulani Resort
This trip was bit more special than our normal trips to Honolulu to visit my step sons and my kids’ had brothers because we checked into the Disney Aulani Hotel for a couple nights, which was seriously a dream come true for me to combine paradise and my love for Walt Disney. The clips you see from the resort are mainly meeting the characters, but the hotel itself was beautiful. I wish there was enough time to share the grounds of this place!
The one thing I wish I knew going into or stay at Aulani was to book very single dining experience in advance, but especially the character breakfast. If you’ve been to a character breakfast at Disneyland or Disney World, Aulani blows all of them to of the water! Definitely worth the money so book in advance, and by advance I’m talking MONTHS!!! I know, it sound insane, but other guests I spoke to say that’s what they did to reserve their spot. But enough of me explaining, I hope you enjoy my video and it inspires you to visit this magical place.

Meeting Moana is a must! They have a number you call every morning to find out where each of the Disney characters will be every day which makes it easy to plan out who you want to see. We were first to meet Moana.
