THE PINEAPPLE EXPRESS

Life has been so crazy busy getting ready for the upcoming holidays, but we had to take a break from everything in Scottsdale to spend some much needed time with my step sons in Hawaii. It's a balancing act traveling back and forth but we make it work for our family :)

We spent our first day back in Honolulu visiting the Dole Pineapple Plantation in Wahiawa. It's perfect for the kids, even at the very different ages they are. Who doesn't love a little tour through pineapple fields and a history lesson all while riding on a train? A little Hawaiian music playing the entire 2 mile and 20 minute ride and we were cruisin'. Only thing I was missing was a pineapple cocktail! 

The Pineapple Express is an awesome way to explore the island. You can fit up to 6 people in each little cabin of the train, that is completely open for you to enjoy the beautiful Hawaiian breeze.

We finished our pineapple tour with Dole's world famous pineapple ice cream! Sweet and delish!
